Ronald around the world: BKK

I love travelling. That can’t be taken away from me (it’s obvious with the course I took in college). 

I love Mcdo. I don’t know why but paparapapap-love ko to!

So last year, when we went to Thailand, I took the chance to strike a pose with Ronald. 

And that started the ‘pose with Ronald around the world’ thing. (IMBENTO. CHOS!) Let’s see where it will take me next. Haha!

Philippine Fashion Week: Spring Summer 2012 Schedule

Yes!!! It is now again the time to celebrate fashionistas! Philippine Fashion Week’s Spring Summer collection is now few days away from happening! 

I hate to say this but I wasn’t able to go to last season’s PFW because our scheduled vacation was exactly the time when PFW was happening in Manila. I know I missed bigtime opportunities that PFW and that made me feel sad and dismayed and… you know what I mean. You can check my sorrowful post somewhere in this blog. I was somewhere in Bohol trying to enjoy the sceneries, the tarsiers and all that while hoping that PFW’s location is in Bohol. Haha! 

And so now I rejoice as our Singapore tour last September wasn’t scheduled this October because this time, I know that I can go freely to PFW! :)

So let me just share with you guys the schedule for PFW Spring Summer 2012. I know you already saw this because you are as excited as I am but wth, sharing is caring and the more the, merrier! 

I am still thinking onto what show I would love to watch (I feel bad now because I missed Candie’s and Forever 21’s show last season and they don’t have show this time) I hope to watch Penshoppe, Bench, Human, Kashieca and Oxygen’s. If given the chance, I would love to be one of the bloggers for their event. 

And speaking of Oxygen, this time around, they moved into the next level as they made a collaboration with Barcelona-based artist and fashion designer who is known for her unique pop art illustrations and paint designs and who has worked with John Galliano and the late Alexander McQueen. She is none other than Marcela Gutierrez whose clients are just Beyonce, Prada, Swarovski, and many more. Yun lang naman. Chos! Haha!

Allow me to quote this, “Oxygen’s spring summer 2012 is the show you wouldn’t want to miss. Mixing the unique styles of Oxygen (minimalist) and Marcela Gutierrez (artsy), the show will undoubtedly bring Philippine ready-to-wear fashion to the next level.” Exciting isn’t it? On the other hand, I might be going to THE Michael Cinco’s show this Monday. And oh, I would like to take this chance to congratulate him for being awarded as the BREAKTHROUGH DESIGNER of the YEAR award in WGSN Global Fashion Awards in Gotham Hall, New York City! I really love it when someone from our country gets acknowledged for something he’s good at internationally. Pinoy pride it is. :)

Undeniably Busy

Ok. I admit. Forgive me. I’ve been so busy going here and there that I often imagine myself just typing the words that I wanted to post here - even if I don’t have my laptop with me. CRAZEEEEEH.  But ofcourse, that didn’t happen! I just realized (thanks to archive button that you can see up above! Haha!) I was left with ONLY ONE POST for the month of September.. And to make my inner writer/blogger feel worse, that single post was even made on the first day of September. Wait. What month is it now? GREAAAAAAT.

This was the Send-off Audio Visual Presentation that Eena, the new Marketing Coordinator of H&L gave me. Thanks EENA!

I missed the H&L + GEC family. I missed Makati. I missed having fun at the office. I missed the feeling of being busy working. I missed the word OT. I missed the clients that I’ve dealt with. I (don’t) miss the traffic + hard times falling in line just to go to the office as well as going back home. I missed the music playing in Van/Ryan’s laptop even though it plays the same music everyday. I missed the FOODTRIPS! I missed Tempura in front of our building. I missed Mcdo. I missed the last minute calls of the clients. I missed saying, “Thank you for calling Health & Leisure, this is Grace speaking how can I help you?”. I missed even the choppy lines whenever I call overseas and try to understand the difficult accent that the people on the other line usually give me. I missed twister fries (i just love Mcdo). I missed going to GT Tower and LKG building. I missed the salescalls. I missed the lovely IPS Team (Rein, Donny, Camille, Ivy, and Cheri) and Shirley and Ivy of TMC. I missed our other partners. I missed my hotel contacts and hotel folder (MY BABY!). I missed seeing the pink stuff at my desk. I missed Anne, my dear dear friend who’s been with me in my Makati journey together with Dann. I missed SM Makati, Glorietta, and Greenbelt. I missed the kulitans. 

Thank you Ms. Lara, my boss, who has taught me so much, inspired me, who became a mother to me there, who has been so patient and understanding. Endless thank you to you. As well as my other mentor, Josh, who has been my friend, my companion especially during OT days, you have taught me so much. Thank you, thank you, you know that. Thank you also to Ms. Marj who is considered as part of the Team. Thank you for helping me as well as understanding me. You’ve also become an inspiration. Thank you. Thank you Ms. Mae. :)

Thank you to the rest of the H&L Team (Past) Van, Arra, and Ryan. You’ve became my best of friends in the office. Thank you for all the memorable and endless happy moments. (New) Eena, Ave, and Jhogz. Good luck and I know you’re all growing kids like the former team. Haha! Keep up the good work. I know we didn’t share as much time as the previous team members especially to my kapalit Jhogz but still, you’re all in my heart. Thank you for coming to my despedida/pre-birthday celeb and the gifts! haha! I’ll still see you.. PARTY PARTY!!!

Wii + Guestbook!

I knooooooowwwww! It’s been so long since the last time I posted something here. I believe that you’ve already forgotten about me (*sobs*). Nuff drama haha! I’m here to tell you the reason behind my hiatus. I’ve been coooooking! no..let me correct that.. baking, i mean. wait. cooking and baking! ^.^

Well, for those people who know me personally, cooking is not my expertise so most of you might ask (some have asked already) what’s gotten into me. Answer is that of course, I’m a bum! So boredom + hunger = oooooh lala instant cooking skills! Haha! Thanks to those people who bought my home made goodies. Heehee. Talk about mini/part time job.

So because I’ve been on hiatus, this made me check on other sites and pooof! I saw my previous blog site. Tentenenen! So I took the code for the chatbox and put it here. You can see it in my side bar over there ———>

Well, the other reason behind the hiatus is Wii! Blame Super Mario and Wii Sports. Playing with my nephew is soooo fun! Even though sometimes he’s cheating! (MADAYA! CHOS! HAHAHA) Yeah, I know what you’re thinking, my 5-year old nephew’s cheating on me, who is oh well uhmmm 17 years old. :P Well, that eventually leads to sipaan and tadyakan and kurutan, sabunutan, suntukan and batukan. LOL. Just kidding! We have this Tita-Inaanak/Pamangkin bond that can’t be broken, so don’t you dare Wii games! Bwahahahaha!

Yes, I do boxing, (I won vs my oh so precious Aga. This led to humongous boxing matches until we got tired.)

I like photo B because of the beard and moustache! HAHAHAHA! It adds strength to my character and makes me feel so masculine. MUCHO GUSTO. LOL! hahahahaha!
